KENTON DUFFIELD (NORTHUMBERLAND ART) END OF YEAR NEWSLETTER 2025 |

Hello friends , the year is not over yet, but as I’m approaching my busiest time with the Pop-Up Gallery, I thought I'd better get this done now. As we enter the final stretch of 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what has easily been my most exciting, challenging, and rewarding year as a full-time artist. From expanding the Northumberland Art brand, to building a new studio,
A real highlight this year was being commissioned by Sanderson Arcade to create the artwork for their Christmas marketing campaign. It was an honour to capture the festive atmosphere of this iconic entrance, and a proud moment seeing the finished piece made into postcard keep sakes for shoppers over the festive period. visit https://www.sandersonarcade.co.uk/ to pick one up |
New studio / Gallery viewingsOne of the biggest changes this year has been offering studio viewings by appointment. This has allowed collectors and commision clients to see the work up close, ask questions, and get a feel for the pieces that photographs just can’t quite capture. Thank you to everyone who has visited — your enthusiasm has genuinely pushed my work forward. |
YouTube — The 2025 Highlights ReelMy YouTube channel is slowly growing , its not as easy as it looks ! From plein air trips to finished studio pieces, and now the more relaxed, slowed-down painting videos, it’s been a joy sharing the behind-the-scenes side of my process. My 2025 Yearbook video is above— some of the highlights and a look back at everything from the early-morning coastal sketches to the larger studio works that took weeks to finish. |
Commissions — A Year of Meaningful ArtworkCommissions have been extremely popular throughout the year, and it has been an honour to create so many pieces based on personal places and cherished memories. Whether it’s a favourite walking spot, a family home, or a special photograph, each commission has its own story, and it’s a privilege to bring those stories to life. I’m now taking bookings for 2026 and would be delighted to create a piece for you or as a gift for someone special.
Thank you for making 2025 such a memorable and uplifting year. Your support — whether through purchasing artwork, visiting the market, commisioning a painting, watching a video, or simply sending thoughtful messages — has made a tremendous difference.all the best,Kenton
